TTR-40, the 40 ton Circular Thread / Form Rolling Machine is based on the renowned principle of symmetrical movement of both roll shafts. The slide run on rectangular guide ways with scales fitted on the base. These are Heat Treated Steel with a tensile strength of 80 to 82 Tons per Sq.in due to the very design of the slides which pull at each other the guide ways extend over the full length of the machine as the machining of guide ways for the two slides is effected in a single operation it ensures a perfect alignment of the motion axes. The Hydraulic system made up of standard elements ensures a continuous steady 40 ton thrust. The tilting of the shaft makes Thrufeed simple and easy. In addition there is an automated centralized lubrication system which minimizes maintenance.

 The TTR-40 machine is also used extensively for burnishing & straightening (engine valves)
